Can I switch Premium Themes without paying additional costs?

  Our company purchased the premium theme Forefront. We are finding that it may not be the theme that works best for what we want to accomplish. Is there a way to switch from one premium theme to another without having to pay for an entirely new theme?
  On that note, if we DO switch themes, will wordpress automatically repopulate our content into our new theme or will we need to redo all of our content?
  Lastly, with the Forefront theme, when we change the background color it only changes the back back color, so it appears as a 1-2 inch strip all the way around our page. Is there a way to change the color of the background that’s in front of our background? As in, the layer between our text and what is considered the background?

  Hi there,

  To answer your various questions:

  We do have a refund policy that an of our products (except domains) can be returned for a complete refund within 30 days of their original purchase. Unfortunately in this case your theme was purchased almost 3 months ago, so it would not be eligible for a refund.

  That said, since you do have WordPress.com Premium, you have access to change your site’s CSS, so you can make the changes which you were talking about, to change the full background of your site (including the text background). You will need to change the CSS coding in order to do so. If you’re not familiar with CSS, you might want to check out our CSS Customization Forum, which is available right here:

  There, you can find all sorts of people discussing the changes that they have or would like to make to their sites via CSS. If someone hasn’t already made the change that you want to then I’ll be shocked, however you can always ask yourself and someone will help you out!

  And if you do decide that you want to change fonts then yes, all of your content will always move over. Your content exists completely separate of your theme. Keep in mind however that any customizations that you’ve made to your theme won’t go too, so you’ll need to redo those on your new theme! :)
