Can I take my domain ( ihh.org.au ) to WordPress?

  Hi everyone. An organisation I am involved with has been using the domain ihh.org.au and we are wondering, if we moved to WordPress could we move this domain to WordPress? (We are currently paying another company to use this domain, and are wondering if it would cost less if we moved it to WordPress.)

  You can map your domain to wordpress for $12.00 (US) per year. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/

  However worpress will only hold registrations for for ,com, .org, and .net domains, so you will have to have the domain registered with another registry. This should be reasonably cheap http://www.domainmonster.com.au/newdnr/action/domain/search.jsp will hold .au domains for $23.90 (AUD) for two years. You can transfer domains to them if your current registrar is much more expensive
