Can I take my theme with me to worpress.org?

  I currently have a wordpress.com site and I am wanting to switch over to wordpress.org to access the added options and functions. When I do an import if my wordpress.com site to the wordpress.org it does not carry over the theme. Do I have to re-purchase that theme or is there some way for me to switch it since I own it on the .com site?

  The premium theme purchases here are limited to WordPress.com, so you would need to purchase the theme again directly from the theme’s vendor.
