We offer support via live chat or email. We currently don’t have phone support, as our everyday conversations with WordPress.com users require frequent reference to web links, and chat and email make the process a lot easier.

I’d give up now. Customer support is non-existent. When you do get them, it’s just a run-around.

@napjeeper you got answered by a Staff member in one of the threads you started – https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/facebook-shares-only-display-image-after-re-saving/#post-4021612 – and as clearly stated the problem is completely on FB-side. As wordpress.com doesn’t have access tot the FB-servers, we can’t help …

@staartmees no, they pointed to a Facebook thread with no actual acknowledgement of an issue with Facebook. No bug ids, nothing.
There are regular metadata errors shown coming from WordPress with Facebooks debug tool.
The problem is with WordPress, they just don’t seem to have the bandwidth, or desire to actually work the problem.

@staartmees I also have another open issue that I haven’t heard back on in almost 48 hours, and the last two replies that took a day each, were repeated questions I’ve already answered.
It’s pretty clear that support is struggling right now, long delays (IF you get a response), and ineffectual responses that don’t actually address issues. They just get that email out of the queue and reset their metrics clocks.
Thanks for pointing to that link though, it shows I provided plenty of evidence of an issue with WordPress and as soon as I did, they vanished.

@staartmees Frank, are you an undeclared employee trolling these forums? Nothing about your profile says you’re WP, but you keep saying ‘we’ on all your posts, of which there are a LOT.

I have put in 3 separate requests via forum and email over the last week and have had NO response from anyone with wordpress support. This has cost me 3 weeks without a website for my company. I would appreciate hearing back from someone ASAP.
