Can I transfer a domain from one WordPress account to another?

  I have a wordpress account under an account I created with a friend (we never used it)

  She has since decided she doesn’t want the site or domain any longer. I’d like to keep the domain, but move it over to my personal WordPress account.

  Can I transfer the domain or do I just delete the site in the one account and set it up anew in the other. If I delete the site does the domain become unusable?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi mikeypereira,

  You’ll have to transfer the site to your account first. Here’s a support article that shows you how you may go about doing so:

  After that, you should be able to add custom DNS entries to the domain, pointing it elsewhere:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/
