can i transfer a site from one account to another?

    i made a site on one account but i’d like to transfer it to a different account to replace an old site. is this possible or do i have to rebuild it from scratch on the new account

    an admin has the old site and the domain on his account, and i built the new site on my account.

    should i add him as an admin on my side and then transfer the domain or should i transfer the site to him where his account and the domain already is

    Hi there,
    So if your admin has a WordPress.com account, you can use his WordPress. Come email or username and proceed with the transfer, . The site can be transferred to him. Just try to follow the steps carefully so that the correct username is inputted. This will shift the complete site to him with everything. This will shift the ownership of the site to him completely.
    And if you just want him to manage your site, then you can add him as You don’t need add him as admin. So he can just manage it.
