Can I transfer a site to a different account?

    I want to transfer this site to a different account. I was going to just delete it and recreate it under the new account, but the support page said ‘Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).’ I took that to mean that the address was no longer available for use by anyone.

    The site I need help with is nilesrotary.wordpress.com.

    Yes, you are right here. If you would have deleted the site then you will not be able to use this address again in future.

    Note: But if in case if the site gets deleted by mistake, the user can recover it with the help of the staff within 30 days of deletion. After that, all the data is completely removed from the system and there is no way to get your site back.
