Can I transfer a subdomain from one domain to another.

    I have a question, is it possible to transfer a sub-domain from one domain and move it to another domain. Still keeping it a sub-domain.

    Hi, you can certainly set up a subdomain on another domain, but I’m not sure what you mean by transfer. Can you clarify?

    Also, could you send a link to the site you’re having trouble with?

    Hi,
    I am wondering if there is any way to move a subdomain from one domain to another domain without data loss.
    An example of the situation is, one of the domains is expiring where the subdomain is located.
    So what would be the best way to move the subdomain to an active domain from a domain which will expire soon.

    The domains are just addressed, they do not contain your data. That said, when you move a domain from one registrar to another or from one site to another, you just move the address, not the content of the site.

    If you can share the URLs we may be able to advise better – things may work differently here, on WordPress.com than they would on a self-hosted site.
