Can I transfer domain from godaddy to wordpress?

  Hi I’ve registered my domain at GoDaddy. However, I am planning to transfer it to my wordpress account. The main reason I am planning to transfer is, I was asked to pay $13 to map custom domain.

  After transfering, do you people cost anything to create a wesite with that domain, or do I need to pay more again?

  Hi there,

  It’s not possible to transfer domains to WordPress.com. The only way to use a domain you already own with a WordPress.com site is the domain mapping upgrade that’s included in the Premium and Business Plans.
