Can I transfer my blog to Blogger?

  I want to change my blog, thelovelynest.com, to blogger. Is this possible? Do I have to cancel my upgrade first?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  To point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), please follow the instructions here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/#changing-domain-name-servers

  Note you will need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)

  This guide explains how to transfer the domain name to another registrar.

  I’m sorry but I’m having a hard time following these directions. Do I need to just change my name servers?

  If I do that, then am I still paying wordpress for my domain??

  If you want I can change the A records of your domain and point it to blogger. Please reply to confirm.

  After I’ve set these you can go to Blogger and update the information on your Settings | Basic tab. Find the area for “Publishing,” and click the link to add a custom domain.

  Then, click on “Switch to advanced settings.

  Enter in the URL for your custom domain in the text box provided, and click Save. That’s it! Your blogspot.com address will soon redirect to your new custom domain — be patient, as it might take up to 24 hours for the redirect to start working

  After that, I will be posting through Blogger, correct? But the domain is still registered with WordPress?

  I changed the DNS records. Note it might take up to 72 hours before the records are fully propagated. Now please follow the instructions from my previous reply.

  Hello– It has been 3 days but I still cannot add my domain to Blogger. I received this message:

  We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error 12.
  On your domain registrar’s website, locate your Domain Name System (DNS) settings and enter the following two CNAMEs:
  Name, Label, or Host field Destination, Target, or Points To field
  www ghs.google.com

  Do I need to make additional changes?
