Can i translate my blog in other languages ?

    Dear everybody

    I am using this blog for the communication of a french vineyard and i d like to know if i can add a button to translate instantly my blog ( which is now in english ) in French .

    Otherwise are there others ways to deal with that problem ?
    Should a publish the same blog in the other language ? . It s a bit confusing

    There is no translation feature built into WordPress.com, but you can offer translated content using Google Translate:

    1) Head over to http://translate.google.com
    2) Enter your blog’s URL, choose the languages, and translate it.
    3) Copy the URL of the translated version and add that as a link within your sidebar.

    i just want to add a word of caution – be aware that google translator does a very poor job. Actually, ANY online translator will end up messing up your text, often in quite hilarious ways. :-)

    If you are fluent in both languages, using google is a good idea, because it speeds up the process, all you have to do is fix the mistakes. But if you are not 100% comfortable with the second language grammar, spelling, slang – avoid online translators.
