Can I try the business account risk-free, if it doesn’t do what I need?

Can I try the Premium or Business account risk-free, if it doesn’t do what I need so I can cancel and get a refund? Also, I have an existing live website so I’m trying to see whether WordPress is a good option for me, but can’t quite connect to my actual domain yet, which I purchased through the CMS (Wix), is that a problem? One more question.. what kind of SEO tools do I get with the Premium account?

  • Hi –

These are great questions. I’m happy to help you get things sorted so you can make the best decision for yourself and the project.

    1. The business plan is completely refundable for up to 30 days after purchase. If you can’t do what you want with it we will be happy to give the money back to you in that time frame.

Please tell me more about the site you plan on building. I can answer any specifics you have about themes, plugins, etc…

    2. There’s 2 ways to connect your domain. It doesn’t matter that you registered it through Wix.

    – domain mapping (Wix remains as the domain registrar): https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
    – domain transfer (we take over as domain registrar):

It’s common for folks to build their entire site and then connect the domain as the last step before launching it. You’d just build it on a free site address, which will convert to the custom domain once you connect it.

    3. WordPress.com sites rank well in search engines because we take care of the nitty gritty work behind the scenes. This is a benefit of using a managed environment like what we offer. Here’s some more material to help with that topic.
