Can I upload a basic HTML (&some Javascript) website I wrote in 1999?

Hi, I have an HTML website I wrote in 1999 and would like to display it. It was a collaborative effort, and I had it displayed on Geocities until that went defunct in 2009, I haven’t found another space to upload it to. The entire file is 4 mb. Is WordPress suitable to upload these files? there are pictures, and some basic Javascript.
    Thank you.

You can upload such files to wordpress.com, You should buy a hosting package (or get a bad and always down free hosting), You can also create wordpress pages, I do not think they will give you bad looking however, Javascripts can not be used on wordpress.com :)

This is the WordPress.COM support forum. The answer to your question is no you cannot do that on a WordPress.COM blog. Here at WordPress.COM you need an XML file to import. Please see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

P.S. Allow me to add that there is no upgrade that you can purchase form WordPress.COM that changes what I said above.
