Can I upload any song to the music player?

  Trying to simply put a song I’m rather obsessed with and spread the good word.

  Is this legal?

  I don’t want to offer a download… only use the player for people to listen.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Music and audio files are tricky and in general you have to have permission from the copyright holder and/or the record company. The RIAA and the record companies are getting very nasty about copyright violations and they have been taking people to court over violations. And even if they don’t win, you might end up with a huge legal bill.

  You are heading into a very tricky area with lots of loose stones over head.
