Can I upload images directly from my dropbox? If so, how?

  I wish there was a way to tell that there are two different WPs out there.
  Not for for the uninitiated.

  I am learning. I will try to study from the “master the basics” link you sent.

  I wish there was a way to tell that there are two different WPs out there.

  Don’t worry about it. My brother-in-law is an electronic engineer who writes software and builds web pages for his company, and he didn’t know it until I told him a few weeks ago. Important thing is now you know.

  If you’re on a site and want to know which version of WordPress it is, scroll to the very bottom.

  WordPress.com sites at the bottom will say “Create a new free blog with WordPress.com” and it will link to the WordPress.com site. That will always appear as WordPress.com users are not allowed to remove that.

  WordPress.org sites will say “Proudly powered by WordPress”, linking to the WordPress.org site, or it won’t say anything at all as WordPress.org users can remove that link.

  As I said, most online tutorials are for .org. There are a few blogs with tutorials for .com, but the best place to go for help is this support forum, and the official support documents, here: https://support.wordpress.com/
