Can I use a claimed .wordpress.com address that appears to have never been used?
-
I’d like to use this domain at wordpress: https://infinityplusone.wordpress.com/ However, it has been claimed. However, it appears to have been registered in 2008 and then never used again. Is it possible to reclaim that domain for my use? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot register a domain that has already been registered
There is no expiration date on any on .wordpress.com blog urls unused, reserved or otherwise. Unless you can reach the over of the site and have them transfer it to you, you have reached a dead ends. Note that in these cases the blog’s owner rarely responds to comments or to contact information. And, Staff will not breach the privacy policy and provide you with an email address.

Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
