Can I use a plugin if my wordpress.com is hosted somewhere else?

  Hi, Im trying to use fotomoto on my site and I noticed you can if you are not hosted on wordpress.com. Im not, Ive got a wordpress.com site but it’s hosted on godaddy.
  Can I make it work?

  You can install plugins on a self-hosted WordPress installation, including a WordPress installation at GoDaddy.

  We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.
