Can I use a screenshot of setting up an alt tag in WordPress for my app?
-
I want to use a screenshot of WordPress on my company’s app to show people how they can set up alt tags for photographs. It would only be two shots—one of the “attachment details” and one of the html of the image. I would be happy to attribute the images to WordPress, but don’t know if that is sufficient to stay on the right side of copyright laws. Also, if there is a standard attribution that WordPress requests we use. If anyone knows whether or not I am able to use these images, I’d appreciate knowing!
Thanks in advance,

Hey thanks! That’s great! Is there any attribution that I need to place with the screenshots? “Used with permission of WordPress (or Automattic) etc.” or anything like that?

No attribution necessary, though you could certainly mention somewhere that it’s from WordPress.com, but I imagine that’s already part of the text. :)
