Can I use a slideshow plugin?

  Hey guys!

  I’m new here to WordPress and I was wondering if I could add a plugin. Now, I’ve seen it is possible to add plugins, but the videos I’ve seen are old and the side bar is not the same anymore, so I was wondering how do I install a plugin nowadays?

  You can only install plugins on a self-hosted site that is running WordPress software.

  On a WordPress.COM site, you can not use any plugins.

  What is it exactly that you want to do? Many plug-in functions are already built into the system on WordPress.com. Here’s the current list: http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  If you want to display your works in a slideshow, there is the built-in Gallery slideshow. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#adding-a-gallery-or-slideshow

  But you are using one of the most interesting themes for displaying art. Have you checked out the theme’s Showcase page to see everything that can be done with Sketch? https://wordpress.com/themes/sketch/
