Can I use an address which is registered but not in use?
I want to register a new wordpress address. When I tried, I am advised the address is already in use. However, when I try the address to see what is there, it says the address “…is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site”. Is there a way I can take this address now?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The answer is – sorry but that is a no can do. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
