  can I use brand names on my blog?

  As long as you’re referring to the brands and not impersonating them.

  If its not plagiarism is ok. If you have the name of the blog and it is about that brand is okay. Lets say you are talking about Elements in life, and your blog name is called Elements. Is not plagiarism too, because its related to the topic and not to the brand name. But I suggest you do not use the full name of your blog exactly the same as the name of a brand, if your blog gets popular and famous, there might be problems.

  Plagiarism and trademarks are entirely separate issues.
