Can I use content I wrote on Bubblews in WordPress?
-
I just want to make certain I can use posts I wrote on Bubblews for my new series of WordPress blogs. Would this contravene the plagiarism rules of Google or be deemed duplication? After all it is my own work. What is your recommendation?

Hi Peter,
At first glance it appears that Bubblews only allows users such as yourself to upload content if its their own original work. However, I’m not familiar enough with their terms of service to know if you still ‘own’ the work after its been uploaded to Bubblews. You may want to check with their staff, or read through their terms of service, to make sure. WordPress.com staff can’t provide any legal advice such as this.
As far as Google rankings are concerned, if you just copy and paste the previous content from Bubblews onto a new site, it will not be ranked as highly as the original while the original is still up. But if you own the content, there’s no plagiarism in posting your content in multiple places.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your input, I will take a look at their terms of service again.
