Can I use deleted site's address for my new site?

I have set up a site on address newlogy.wordpress.com and deleted it because I thought that I’d go for my own server with WP on it. However, now I’d like to create a new site on the same address and it shows that it’s taken, but it shows only 404 message. Is it possible to create a site on this address?

Simply stated no you can’t because deleting any blog URL is a permanent and irreversible act, just as the multiple warnings required to accomplish site deletion clearly state. Once the verification link for deletion is clicked the blog URL is forever gone, gone, gone.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
