Thanks pmciano (:
Is there any way to make the pdf appear like it is when it is printed? I mean, just as it is – rather than appear in a box that doesn’t fit the whole page in it – and also doesn’t show the thumbnail of the page?Hope you can explain,

If you’re not satisfied with how Google embeds are presented on your site, please try using an alternative solution, like Scribd:

If you are still having a problem, let me know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once I get more feedback.

Scribd works better indeed, it isn’t free though (there is a free one month trial). I like it better than the google doc embedder, but I am not sure if it is worth paying the £8.99 per month for.
Is this the only other option in wordpress.com?

You could simply link to the PDF file after uploading it to your Media Library. After the user clicks on the link, it will either load in the browser, or be downloaded for offline viewing. This way, it will look exactly like it does when it’s printed out.
Alternatively, you can convert the PDF to an image, like a PNG, and simply add it to a post/page like any other image.
If you have additional questions on this issue, please let me know.

Aha! PDF to PNG and providing a link is the answer (: Phone’s and tablets easily zoom, desktops easily click link or zoom as well.
Many thanks for your help (:
