Can I use Gsuite with domain hosted with Godaddy?
-
Hi, I used to use wordpress to host my domain and use Gsuite for email, and it very convenient.
I have some issues with the web service company and had to move my domain host to Godaddy, but now I cannot use the Gsuite email.
Can I use the Gsuite email while use Godaddy as domain host? Please let me know. Thank you!

Hi @jinghuaesq, Google Workspace can be used with most hosts. You’d just need to set up the domain properly, then continue paying Google or its reseller for the upgrade.
I don’t see any Workspace licenses on this account, though. If you need more help, can you send the workspace email address?

Thank you for your email!
The email address with my wordpress account is: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I used to have a domain linked with wordpress: http://www.jinghuarealty.com, and I moved it to Godaddy due to web servicer’s request.
I used to have a linked account which is (email visible only to moderators and staff), but I thought I had to switch it to Godaddy so I did, and deleted this account on wordpress.
However, it is a pain to use godaddy’s webmail and I want to switch back, but do not know how.
If you can help with this, that will be perfect. It is totally fine to pay Google.
Best regards,
Jing

Thanks Jing. Were you using this option previously?
https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/#professional-emailI’m checking to see if there’s a great way to use that while hosting elsewhere.

We took a closer look, and while you did have our email option at some point, you do also have Google Workspace through someone else.
You should just be able to set up your DNS for that, and your host can help.
