  First, you must give your blog’s URL when you post a question, or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know”.

  Second, you can use html in wp.com, but adsense or other ads are not allowed – check the FAQs.

  Only on pages. Go on a page edit/add new. Then click the HTML tab and click what you want.

  @rjbrown3 – have you used the HTML editor? Have you posted HTML in a text widget? Those are ways to use HTML throughout your blog.
