Can I use Multi Site with Hostgator Word press account?

    I have hosting with HostGator and I have 3 websites, my first website was a word press template that I bought online then I purchased 2 more domains for different purposes (different companies) I discovered that I can manage my 3 sites via multisite in word press so I started to investigate via the web. I found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvyf9c_h4T4&t=642s in how to set up word press multisite and I modified my .htaccess files from my cpanel and also the other wp-config.php file as the video suggests.

    After modifying my WordPress to a multisite network, I saw that in my original WP template I needed to add the websites to “Add websites” selection in the network area (the 2 domains that I bought in Hostgator) so I did.

    I noticed that nothing happened

    So I thought that I did something wrong or something was wrong with the code that I changed in .htaccess or in the wp-config.php files

    so I discovered the following support articles in HostGator support https://support.hostgator.com/articles/getting-started/wordpress-mu

    And I noticed that the code that HostGator requests to change is different from the one in the youtube video that I just mentioned in my first paragraph.

    I’m confused and I need help.

    by the way, I do not have my password from the WordPress generated account for my first site, I only have stored in my computer so I have to request it again from HostGator
