Can I use my P.O. box instead of my physical address in the domain registration?

I would like to register for/ buy a domain name. My land-lady does not want me to give out my/ her physical address on the internet, and my question is, is the domain registration asking for my PHYSICAL address or can I give them my P.O. Box in place of it? I am already aware of the private option and will probably do this but still need this QUESTION answered.

You should be able to – don’t know about the data fields here, but I have two domains registered with different registrars and both are PO boxes

Nice. The information you shared was helpful. But please check on the specific yes…or no on whether I need to provide my actual PHYSICAL ADDRESS, seeing as I don’t want to lose my domain over wrong information input. I CAN wait a bit longer for the answer to this one.

    Peace.

You need to provide an address – internet rules –

You’re more than welcome to use a PO box as your address for your domain. The registrar just requires that the address provided is one that you can be contacted at.

Let me know if you have other questions!

Thanks so much! Your reply was helpful. I don’t at this time have any more questions. Thank you also to auxclass, I appreciate you responding.
    Peace to y’all,
