    Can I start from scratch with my own bespoke theme design or do I have to accept an existing wordpress theme

    Hey there,

    Is the Bespoke theme a third-party theme? If so, custom themes can only be uploaded on WordPress.com if you have the Business Plan Upgrade:

    In addition to custom themes, you also can install plugins, receive real-time backups, have 200 GB of media library storage, sFTP access, live chat support, and more:

    If you do not want to go with the Business Plan but want to stay with WordPress.com, the good news is that WordPress.com has hundreds of available themes that you can activate (many for free), and they are found under Appearance > Themes
