    Can I use my WordPress theme template for my blog, but a template I create on software for other pages?

    I am designing my website using Xara design software, not writing my own CSS. I want to have WordPress host my website, as I’ve had my blog here for a long while and feel comfortable. I want my blog page to continue using the current theme, but I want to use the pages I design for some other pages, including the static front page and about me, possibly others. Can this work? If so, how (or where do I find instructions?)

    Hi there,

    Unfortunately, themes or page templates can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
