Can I use Publicize in a Text Widget?

  I would like to add Publicize code to my “Text Widget” so text widget posts in my sidebar will link to Facebook and LinkedIn. Will that work? Can you help? Thanks, Jane. I’m helping a friend at http://www.rob-ault.com

  Your friend’s site is not hosted by WordPress.com but if you try asking at the WordPress.org forums instead you might find someone who can help (here’s a quick description of the differences).

  YES….it IS a WordPress site, we just chose the ordinary web address. Can you help?

  If you are talking about rob-ault.com then you’ll need to follow the links I posted before as it’s likely a WordPress.org site and not a WordPress.com one!

  If you mean another site then can you post a link to it so we can check?
