Can I use the address 'ferrus87.wordpress.com' ?

  I have an own blog on Blogger.com (www.ferrus87.blogspot.com) but I want to move it to WordPress because it has much more features than Blogger. I also like it better than the actual Blogger. So I try to create a blog with the following link: http://www.ferrus87.wordpress.com, because “Ferrus87” is the nickname I use. But when I try to create a blog with this name, the WordPress homepage says “Sorry, that site already exists!” – even if there is NO site with such an adrress.

  Could you please help me to create a blog wit the address ‘ferrus87.wordpress.com’? I really would like to use this address because there isn’t any blog existing with this address.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  That’s not possible. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
