Can I use the inactive address present.wordpress.com?

  There is an inactive address I would like to use: present.wordpress.com. Since February 2006 it has published 1 start-up post and 3 comments… Obviously, it was never really used. How can I get hold of this address?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com won’t close an account: When you sign up for an account there is no expiration date even if it is never used for a blog. You could try to leave a message / comment on the site to ask the owner to transfer the url to you.

  Or you could use an alternate spelling something like 1present or pr3s3nt.

  Or you could use a domain mapping upgrade:
