Can I use this theme?

Hi, I am looking to upgrade my “free” blog theme to this I plan to purchase: King Size – fullscreen background WordPress theme
(from Themeforest)
Will a premium upgrade do, I wonder. I am hoping to use this, or similar theme, without ftp or other hosting.
After spending the holidays searching and trying out “site builders” I think I will just stay with WP.
Possible answer very welcome.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t install themes purchased outside of WordPress.COM – you are limited to the themes you can see from Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes – it’s a security and performance issue – themes are highly modified to work on WordPress.COM

Then I am a little lost in a follow-up matter:
When live previewing themes, the new seems to just jump in to my earlier customized theme, thus I don’t really get the new theme up for display. So, if I want to start afresh with a new theme, how can I do that?
I have just renewed payments, and I just want to sort of start over – with a new theme.
