Can I use wordpress to advertise my own product?

    Hello all,

    I was debating setting up a wordpress.com website for my own small business, and required some clarification regarding the terms of service and website setup.

    Basically, I plan to create and sell model aircraft made by myself, and wanted a website to advertise my creations and drum up interest in the business.

    I was planning to set the webpage up so I have a page of available models for sale, and if someone wishes to purchase one, they contact me via email and I process the transaction via paypal with them, completely off the wordpress website.

    Is this allowed on a wordpress.COM website?

    Only, I have read people mentioning advertising of goods or revenue via wordpress.COM isn’t allowed. I wanted to find out if I could do the above, where the website is just for marketing, and all sales are done outside of the website itself?

    Yes, that is allowed. You will be just fine making a site like that.
