Can I warn people that my Blog contains Adult Content?

I’m fairly new to the Blog family. I’m investing time into creating a Blog for my writing, but want to protect other users and the general public from inadvertently entering my blog, that don’t want to be exposed to the Adult nature of my pages. I still want those users that wish to read or follow me the opportunity to do so.

Is there a setting that I can select to warn people before viewing my blog?

I sent a message to WordPress.com about 3 days ago, but I’ve still not had a response.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You can write a post and make it Sticky (the option is on the right-hand side of the Write box) and if it’s long enough that people can’t see the rest of your blog when they first enter, it’ll warn them AND prevent them from reading anything below without first skimming. You can also set your blog to Mature: go to the blog and on the Admin bar you should see Blog Info, and under that is Report As Mature. You can report yourself.

    Thank you raincoaster.

I was concerned about reporting it and the blog being removed. I didn’t want to invest any further time and effort into the blog if Adult Content wasn’t allowed.

I’ll go see if I can do this now.

Thank you again, this is much appreciated. :-)
