Can I work on another theme in the background?

  I want to update my site and would like to work on a theme in the background, while keeping my current site theme and its content together. Can this be done?

  Hi there!

  If you’re only wanting to modify your theme settings you can do that by saving the draft of the settings instead of publishing them. To do that, when changing the settings, click on the little gear icon and then “Save draft”:

  

  If you’d like to work on a different theme than the one you have active on your site, I’m afraid this wouldn’t be possible.
