Can Incoming Links be seen as Spam?
-
I know that incoming links are a blogger’s dream to have. But can they be seen as spam if they com from the same blogger over and over again? If so, how can I stop them…

Eewwww, that’s a thoughie. I’m assuming that you mean seen as spam by the search engines or do you mean by staff here?
Gotta admit that I’ve seen staff admit that they’re erred calling a blog a splog when it wasn’t or when the blogger has honestly stated that they were in err themselves. They are will to discuss the matter. It’s not open and shut on occasion.
Being seen as a splog by the search engines is a different matter. Of course I sit here report splogs to Google and have yet to see them take action on a single one while I’ve had clients of my own and myself labeled as such mistakenly with no recourse.
I really don’t know what to tell you. Gotta admit that I wouldn’t worry about it. If you get trackbacks from splogs that go uncaught by Akismet, labeling them as spam and sending them in for review would be best of course. Out side of that, I’ve got nothing really to suggest.
I will mention that I’ve got a stack of inbounds from splogs that hasn’t hurt me.
Hope this helps,
