Can iPhone users view VideoPress videos?

    Anyone know if iPhone users can view videos hosted through VideoPress? I know they can see videos on YouTube, but not some other sites, such as Viddler. Want to make sure it’s worth upgrading to VideoPress… gotta know what I’m in for here. Thanks!

    Nope.

    Video Press Videos get the need flash player…

    Youtube videos are supported though.

    I take it maybe this is collateral damage from the Apple-Adobe spat over Flash — that Apple isn’t supporting Flash on the iPhone operating system.

    But does anybody know if WordPress is working on a solution? I noticed a WordPress.com blog post recently mentioning that they’re working on an iPhone app for posting videos to your blog. But will you actually be able to watch them, too, if they’re VideoPress?

    This is kind of a drag. I love how my iPodTouch displays WordPress blogs in a decent mobile format automatically. I wish VideoPress worked, though.
