Can "likes" be imported?

  I exported and imported my current WordPress.com blog file to another WordPress.com blog I have. All the posts and pages transferred successfully, but the “likes” on my posts did not transfer. I’m interested in an upgrade, however, if “likes” cannot be transferred, it will influence my decision on which WP blog to upgrade. Can “likes” on posts be transferred from one WP.com blog to another WP.com blog?

  No they cannot be imported.

  The likes received on any site are specific to the URL of the posts/pages on that specific site. Likes may make us feel warm and fuzzy but they lack the value that comments possess.
