Can log on to general profile with username/p-word, but cannot get into actual website profile using

    I want to update some things on our website (which hasn’t been touched in over a year) and I have logged on to our general user account using a new password I had to generate (by sending a reset to the email I had on file). When I go to the part of the WP Dashboard where it says ‘My Site’ I then try to click on the one website we maintain… at which point it says my JetPack is outdated. I click on the update button and it kicks me out to a login screen again. I put in the same username and password and it says it does not recognize the username. I tried both the username and email address with the same password. No luck. Is there a different username for just my wordpress website / jetpack than there is for my general wordpress account? I am confused. Need help! Please email me at my admin account (attached to my WordPress main account) or at my direct email at (email visible only to moderators and staff).
