Can missing e-mail be retrieved?
-
I mapped my domain, http://www.alacartespirit.com, to WordPress back in August 2013. I didn’t realize that this would put my e-mail in limbo; before I mapped the domain my e-mail went through servers at godaddy.com. Today, I discovered that I need to forward mail from the WordPress site…that is done, but is there any way to retrieve e-mail messages sent to me through my blog contact form over the last few weeks? Or is that lost forever?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I went to the support docs here http://support.wordpress.com. I typed in Domains Add Email and this was the result http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

Thanks for the link – it includes the correct DNS servers that I need to use. I’m still curious if any e-mails sent to me before I made this change have disappeared forever, or if it’s possible to recapture them somehow.

P.SD. Just in case you don’t pick up on it, WordPress.com does not have your email in storage.
