Can my background be uploaded in the form of an svg file?

  I cannot upload my background image that I already created in high quality, as an svg. Why is this not an option? Is it an option if i pay the premium rate?

  Hello jamessedlak,

  I don’t believe that SVG file types are a supported format on WordPress.com due to security reasons.

  The accepted file types for images are:
  .jpg
  .jpeg
  .png
  .gif

  Convert your vector image (svg) to a one of the above.
