Can my blog mirror my website?

  I started my blog- (email visible only to moderators and staff), as an introduction to my photo business b/c I wasn’t ready for a website yet. Now I’m ready, but I read that if I want my blog to mirror my website- the appearance that is- that I should have a wordpress.org account. Is this true? Is it easy to switch? Most people have bookmarked me as .com already though.

  If your website does not exist yet, you can build it along your blog, and keep the same address, look and feel, and current content.
