Can my confit blog look the same on all devices?

  I am using Confit Theme and I don’t want the theme to change the site layout when viewed on mobile devices. I want my blog to look the same on all devices. I don’t want the left menus to appear on the bottom of my blog. I tried enabling-disabling “mobile mode” with no luck.

  Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes Confit is is a responsive layout theme. Responsive layout means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading. Go to > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme because if you disable the mobile theme then you ought to achieve what you want.

  Hi timethief and thanks for your reply. I can see this feature you are telling me, this is what I am currently using. My question was more specific: If my site can look exactly the same in all devices and sizes, i.e. sidebar not appear below posts. I want sidebar to remain as a sidebar on the left. Is this possible?

  You can purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and remove the “responsive layout” from the theme. or you can simply with and use a theme that’s does not have that feature.

  P.S. Allow me to ad that Responsive Web Design is The Gold Standard that accommodates all uses regardless of which device the use and removing is is possible but it amounts to going back in time.

  In other words, the theme you are using has the changes you are trying to avoid built in. The only way to avoid those changes is to choose a theme that is non-responsive.
