Can my header image be changed after someone did something with the code?
-
One page will not let me change the header image. I’m post writes.com. My Book Review page has something wrong in the header image area. Previously, a friend changed something there for me, and now I can’t change it. After I hit Edit, choose my new image from the Media Library, then click Update, the View Post shows my new image, but when I go directly to my site, the old image still shows. My friend did something with the code. Is there a way this can be fixed? Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I currently see this header image set: https://patriciapostblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=custom-header
Is that the one you wanted to use?

For the first page, yes, but for the page entitled “Writing Portfolio” I want a different image. I do have a different image for the page entitled, “About the writer” but this one page – again – “Writing Portfolio” I can’t change. There is something different about that page. Unlike the other parts of my site, that page won’t let me change the image. It shows as changed on the edit page, and also when I click “View Post”, but when I go to the page itself – the old image is still there.

It’s also happening with my Contact page. Why can I change it on one page and not another?
-
Featured images can’t be set on Category pages/archives. The ‘writing portfolio’ page is a category page/archive. That’s why it works fine on your About and Contact page, because those are static pages.

I see a featured image set on the contact page. You can follow the instructions at http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image on how to change this.
It’s also possible that the previous header is still cached in your browser, try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below:
