can my suscribers be moved?

  how can I move my followers and subscribers from one wordpress.com url to another wordpress.com url? And can customer service help with this? I’d like all my followers/subscribers from lilsparoom.com be moved to shinebeautifully.me. Thank you.

  Thanks a bunch! When the blog was moved over, did it overwrite anything on the shine beautifully site? I’m trying to recover the page that was on it before I moved the blog over. Also, of I delete the lil spa room site when readers click on my images from pinterest will it go to shine beautifully?

  Hi April,

  When the blog was moved over, did it overwrite anything on the shine beautifully site?

  I only moved your subscribers over — that doesn’t change any of the content on your blog.

  If you exported the contents of the old blog and imported it on the new one, that wouldn’t overwrite anything that was already on the new blog. If there’s a specific page you’re having trouble with, please let me know which page it is and I can take a look.

  Also, of I delete the lil spa room site when readers click on my images from pinterest will it go to shine beautifully?

  No, links to your old site won’t automatically redirect to your new site right now. If you’d like that to happen, I can move your domain lilsparoom.com so it’s linked to the same site as shinebeautifully.me. That way, anyone who visits a link to lilsparoom.com will be automatically redirected to the same page on shinebeautifully.me.

  Yes that be great if the links can be redirected to shine beautifully. After that’s done when I’m ready, will it be safe to delete lilsparoom? So any links and images out there on any other site will go to shine beautifully, right?

  Hi April,

  I moved your domain lilsparoom.com so it’s linked to the same site as shinebeautifully.me. Now, when someone visits a link to lilsparoom.com, they will be redirected to shinebeautifully.me.

  I’d recommend leaving your old site the way it is for now, without deleting it, to make sure everything is working the way you expect it to. (Deleting a site is permanent and can’t be undone.) If you’d like, you can set the old site to private so it isn’t visible anymore: Privacy Settings
