Can My "Thesis" Theme Be Imported from wordpress.org to wordpress.com?

  I use the third-party Thesis theme on my WordPress blog, but I’m moving the blog to WordPress.com. Can I bring the Thesis theme with me?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No. The only themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs like your blog are the themes found here http://wordpress.com/themes/

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:

  upload any third party themes,
  create child themes,
  create our own themes,
  edit templates,
  create own own layouts,
  or use stylesheets from other themes.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that.

  Got it. That might tip the balance for me keeping my wordpress.org hosted blog, though I understand security is tougher that way…
