Can my wordpress blog host a podcast?

The title pretty much sums up my question. I have learned how to record and edit a podcast and end up with an MP3 file. Ultimately, I would like it to be available for subscription on iTunes. But I need to give the podcast a URL and have it hosted somewhere. Is my wordpress site a place where this can be done? And if so, how, exactly? Thanks

To upload MP3s to your media library here you would need to buy the space upgrade (which expands the file types you can upload to include MP3s). You could then use the URL of that file at iTunes.

You can make mp3’s for free by using the Phone My Blog function, actually. Then you can take that MP3, download it, and upload it at iTunes.

Thanks. The Space Upgrades seem a little expensively priced, but I will consider them. @Raincoaster – I don’t really understand the option you mention…
“making mp3s” is free any way you do it, as I understand it. The issue is hosting it, right? I mean, I can make a voice recording that is an mp3.
Download it from where to where?
Upload it from where to iTunes?
Yeah, I guess I just don’t understand any of the three steps you described.
