Can no longer access my site
-
Hi I tried to do the WordPress update that was prompted to me on my Dashboard.
This was 5 hours ago, and ever since I first clicked the button to update, I get this message on my site: ‘There has been a critical error on your website.’
Please fix this so I can use my site againI don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

Sorry to hear that!
If the site isn’t hosted with us, we most likely can’t help much. But here are a few ideas:
– Check to see if you have an admin email with clues.
– Ask your host to check error logs.
– Since this started with an update, make sure your PHP version is compatible. Your host can help with that.
– Also, ask your host to help you restore a good backup.
Going forward, you’ll also want to use the correct forums for self-managed installations:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Or, you’d be welcome to migrate your site to our services once this is resolved, so we can provide direct support going forward. All of our paid plans include hosting, support, maintenance, SSL, and more. You can find our pricing here:
